#24 Ramah Mustangs
Well, the next team on our list is similar to Tohatchi in the fact they bring back a very young squad this fall. The 5th place Mustangs lose Shamika Maria to graduation but retain their top finisher, Keena Turney. Also considering that ATC and Pecos have been dominating A/2A for the past few years, competing in the biggest classification in terms of teams per district just making it to the state meet is a challenge any given year. This past year saw schools like Laguna Acoma sit out cross country who easily could have competed for the state title. Ramah will look for their 5th runner and could see another consecutive top-five finish in 2021 as graduations will affect the rest of A/2A. This fall will qualify more to the state meet so if runners like Aleeya Lambson and Lydia Lambson can pull off a top 25 finish they will be in contention for a trophy. Sophomore Penelope Maria rounds out the top 4 as the Mustangs look promising going into fall 2021 season.
