The Team Utah Girls represented well at the Great Southwest Classic this weekend. With stiff competition coming in from all over the southwest, the Utah Girls picked up wins in 6 events. Kaysha Love won the 200m Dash, Sierra Malm won the 2k Steeple, Summer Harper won the 3200m, Lucy Biles won the 1 mile run, Megan Glassman won the Javelin, and the Utah Girls also picked up the win in the 4x800m Relay.
Breaking News... the meet is still going on in New Mexico, but Trayvon Bromell laid it down!!! By running a 9.99, he became the first high schooler to break the 10 second barrier in history. The time was very wind-aided, so will have that asterik, but holy cow!!!

Times that would win state most years had trouble even earning a medal this year. The depth of the Utah talent will be shown this upcoming weekend at the Great Southwest Classic in Albuquerque, NM.
