2019 NMAA 5A Boys 400 Finals Section 1
Nasir Hunter-Muhammed is one of the few sprinter finalists back from the 2019 season and the Sue Cleveland senior brings with him a 3rd place finish in the 400m as well as the top marks in both 200m and 400m. As with every event among 5A sprints, no returning finalist from nearly two years ago but a name to watch could be Luke Wysong from the Storm as well as Clovis' crop of sprinters like Ethan Culliver. In the hurdles, big names like Connor O'Toole, Noah Fay, and Tommy Lopez are long gone. It truly is a mystery who will take over the mantle of 5A sprints and hurdles but Rio Rancho and Sue Cleveland lead the charge in speedsters coming back thus far.
