We can only wonder how the Bulldogs would have fared in 2019 with now graduated Emily Schoellkopf and Vivian Micono who only competed in the Cleveland invite last season. They likely would have been in the realm of a 5th place finish. Fast forward to this season with the hope of Micono returning to competition, Albuquerque high once again sets its sights on a better-contested state race. Returning runners include Safiya Zavala-Sweet, Ava Straton, Elena Dunn, Sofia Sanchez, and Sofia Hren.
