Los Alamos Preview

The defending 4A state champion HillToppers will need some quality runners to step up for a few departed seniors if they want to repeat in 2019.  Individual state runner-up Rafael Sanchez will be looking to take home an individual title along with leading HillToppers to what would be there sixth 4A title of the decade. Holding off a equally prominent program in Albuquerque Academy will be challenging to say the least.  Since 1997 no other team has one a state championship against Los Alamos or Albuquerque Academy. That's 21 years of domination between two schools and shows no sign of ending here in 2019.
