Zuni Preview
The premier program within the land of enchantment returns every runner from their state championship team a year ago. The 18-time State Champions are in the drivers seat of boys 3A. Zuni returns a senior heavy squad that has extensively-rich history of success. Leading the way for the Thunderbirds is Deshawn Goodwin who along with a runner-up finish in 3A was also the individual champion at Nike Cross Southwest regional. Goodwin and company have immense potential and experience that teams like Santa Fe Indian School have come close to but at the moment Zuni remains the undisputed favorites to repeat.
