Kirtland Central Preview
The Broncos will be looking for a potential top 3 finish this season as they return almost the entire squad from 2018. A squad that was 10 points shy of Hope Christian may have the edge this season. Sophomore Aisha Ramone leads the way coming off a 7th place finish within 4A. This past track season Ramone lit up the track taking home 3rd place in the 1600m and a 7th in the 800m. They will however need to bring that team average down if they want a crack at challenging the two perennial powerhouses in girls 4A ( Albuquerque Academy, Los Alamos). The 2-time state champion Broncos have the strength, experience and prestige for another top-3 finish within girls 4A.
