Los Alamos Preview
The prominence of Los Alamos girls is perhaps the greatest of any other team regardless of gender and classification in all of New Mexico. A bittersweet rivalry with Albuquerque Academy for both the boys and girls that has seen the two alternate for the dominance of 4A for the better half of two decades. The HillToppers who finished runner-up to Academy in 2018 return practically the entire team including individual runner-up Norissa Valdez. With no seniors on this returning top 5 the HillToppers could start 2019 with what could be another multi-state champion span. The toughest task for Los Alamos is where they will find room to put all the hardware they intend on winning this season.
