Albuquerque Academy Preview
Defending 4A state champion Chargers lost five seniors to graduation and still hold up as the #3 team returning in 2019. Academy is known for their abundance of quality runners that could fill a varsity roster on any other team. Grace Archibeck leads a team which will have at least five new faces to state contention despite three of which will be seniors. runners 3-7 brand new to varsity scene will have to get familiar fast as the rode to the 2019 4A state championship begins August 31st. The Chargers will need to be at their best if they want to defend against Los Alamos for what would be a 3-peat crown.
