Cleveland Preview
It should be to no surprise that the Storm would take our #2 spot for the girls team as well. Both the boys and girls have been so competitive in their first ten years of existence that it feels as if this is a program that has been around for decades. Leah Futey just state runner-up and freshmen leads yet another savvy Storm squad primed for success. Cleveland who has a plethora of capable runners on the roster any given year returns all but one on a team that scored 65 points. 2018 State champion Eldorado graduated three from that team and unlike the Storm, don't have the arsenal that reloads instead of rebuilds. All signs point toward Sue Cleveland taking back the 5A crown in 2019.
