This week of the 2025 cross country season produced some amazing performances for New Mexico's athletes. Let's go over our top performers from this weekend and vote on New Mexico's best performances.
CANDIDATES
Tyler Wright (Cibola HS)- Broke the 16-minute barrier for the first time over the 5K distance at the Coach Mo & Marquise Weast Twilight meet this weekend. Wright claimed the win by just over three seconds, collecting a new 15:41.00 P.R in the process.
Brayden King (Menaul HS)- He was third place with a 16:57.74 at the Los Lunas Invitational. The junior was the lone runner from his school in the varsity race and was able to sneak under the 17-minute mark for the first time.
