2A isn't the territory of big schools, but it may just turn out to be the territory of the best competition to be found on Saturday.
Admit it, you've already pondered in your mind whether Zuni or Laguna-Acoma will come out on top in the boys race. But, before you get settled on those two schools, you might also want to incorporate East Mountain into your calculations. Early in the season, this one appeared to be all Zuni's, but it's a long road to state and Laguna-Acoma and, more recently, East Mountain have worked the length of that road to their advantage.
