One weekend does not a season make, but last weekend did give us a nice indication of which runners came into the season ready to lace up the spikes and lay it down. Here's a quick look at the individuals at the top of their classifications following one weekend (and occasionally two) of action:
5A
Going 1-3 at the Lobo Invite obviously focuses some attention on Crissey and Casey Amberg of Eldorado. It wasn't hard to see this duo coming last year, and it's not terribly surprising that they are where they are this year. A lot of the rest of 5A has some catching up to do.
