And now for a quick glance at what the returnees in 4A Girls Track and Field look like in a mock meet from last year's state meet results...
Jeff Turcotte will need to pick up a lot of relay points to reach 143, or even 103 (especially when you stop to consider that the point assignments in this analysis are more generous than those used for the New Mexico state meet), but the St. Pius X girls look like a serious 4A contender. Los Alamosa, Aztec, and Valencia look to have a lot to say about the eventual outcome as well.
