The Brooks XC West Championship is quickly approaching. Slated for December 6th at the Mt. SAC cross country course in Walnut, California, the top runners in the West will clash for a coveted regional championship title and a qualifying spot at the Brooks XC National Championships in San Diego on December 13th.

The West remains the nation's most explosive region, with a cascade of sub-15 efforts pushing championship expectations even higher. Last year, New Mexico contributed top-tier performances, and with this year's new Golden Ticket qualifying process, many individuals often forced to pick between one race or another will have a shot at the Brooks XC National meet in San Diego.
