New Mexico Performer of the Week (Mar. 17-Mar. 23)

This week in track and field season produced some amazing performances in and out of state. Here's the poll highlighting some of New Mexico's best performances.

BOYS CANDIDATES

Bryce Melton (Santa Fe HS)- The senior doubled down on his 200m state lead at the Chandler Rotary Invitational. Melton focused his efforts on one event and walked away with a new P.R plus a continuation of his state lead. He finished 3rd in the Elite heat and was the top NM finisher in the event. He still holds the 100m state lead as well.

Corbin Coombs (Organ Mountain HS)- A big day in Arizona for the senior from New Mexico. The Chandler Rotary Invitational witnessed a double victory from Coombs. He signed up for both the Mile and the 800m and was rewarded with state leads in both events.

Haden Judd (Logan HS)- At a loss of words here. Judd signed up for five events at the Rattler Relays, won all five, P.R'ed in both the Long and Triple Jump, and also managed a state lead in the Triple Jump. A nice day in the office for the senior as he wraps up the second half of March.

GIRLS CANDIDATES

Gianna Rahmer (El Dorado HS)- Hello to outdoors. Rahmer doubled at the Chandler Rotary Invitational to open up her season. Her 4:57.88 and 10:36.30 in the Mile and 3200m are both two new state leads for New Mexico.

Colette Bibeault (Los Alamos HS)- A well-deserved P.R in both the 100m hurdles and 300m hurdles for Bibeault. The senior finished 11th and 9th respectively in the elite field for both events and succeeded in established two new state leads.

Kaselle Davis (Las Cruces HS)- Rolla Buck White Sands Invitational witnessed a triple from Davis. She took first in all three events, maintained her state leads, and also took over the 400m state lead for New Mexico. Davis now holds three state leads for this outdoor season.
