Leading the 2022 U.S. Women's Shot Put squad competing at Hayward Field at the World Championships this summer is New Mexican native Chase Ealey who stacked up numerous accolades for Los Alamos High School. Ealey still holds the record in the shot put for 4A with a mark of 47-3 set back in 2012.

Chase would go on to attend Oklahoma State University where shot put would become her marquee event. She would podium on several Big 12 Conference Championships and a runner-up finish in the 2016 NCAA Division 1 championship followed by a 4th place finish in the 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials.

Check out just how impressive of a senior season Chase had competing in throws and sprints among class 4A.
