Ellary Battle leads the state championship edition of girls rankings as she dipped under 19:00 to claim the 5A state championship title in 18:53. Los Alamos duo of Delaney Ulrich and Kelly Wetteland also went under the barrier as they went 18:56-18:57 in the 4A race. Raylee Hunt ran a completely solo effort to run a 19:12 that was the winning 3A time by over a minute to the next closest finisher. A pair of Albuquerque High Bulldogs would make the top ten including freshman Daniela Figueroa alongside Ava Stratton. 4A race would include the rest of the top ten times among the girls' performers.
