ABQ Academy's Joaquin Deprez is starting to separate himself from the rest of 4A as we enter rare June competition in New Mexico. Deprez 1:57 lands him at #2 while his 1600m 4:31.19 holds him at #1 with only a couple of weeks shy of the state meet. Interestingly enough that similar to the boys' sprints and hurdles we arent seeing much if any change towards the top of the leaderboards. Justin Hickey remains on top of the 3200m and Jerrick Maldonado is that consistent face across all distance events. Check out where the boys land on this week's New Mexico distance rankings as of June 9 on the next pages.
