Los Alamos Girls had the best 1-2 punch in 2019 when Norissa Valdez and Sophie Chadwick broke away from the rest of 4A competition mid-way through the race. The Hilltoppers would go on to easily surpass rival Albuquerque Academy by nearly surpassing all scoring runners in the top 10 finishers as they locked in 30 points.
