As we gear up for the start of the 2020 cross country season we will be breaking down the top returning times from each class. Today we look at the class of 2023 that has seen a handful of runners go for sub-17 last season. Rendon Kuykendall of Hope Christian was the premiere freshmen in 2019 that led the Huskies to a 3rd place state finish within 4A with the help of his 6th overall individual finish. La Cueva's Crew Johnson also getting his first taste of state championship competition as a freshman and could be a runner to watch in the coming years along with Bersise Burdick, Cameron Shorty, Jett Smith, and Jude Lucero
