- When it comes to meets that will be missed the most this season you can't help but put Richard Harper at the top of your list if you were expecting to compete there in 2020. Dare I call this the "Payton Jordan Invitational" of New Mexico outdoor track and field. Held at the end of April in usually ideal weather conditions and talented teams flock to Albuquerque Academy's enormous campus to compete at one of the Cathedral's of track and field facilities. A Plethora of New Mexico all-time greats have competed and excelled here and is the epicenter of the most memorable moments for any athlete that has had the opportunity to compete at Richard Harper.
