Watch Live: The Great Southwest Classic


This weekend athletes from the greater Southwest region flock to Albuquerque for the Great Southwest Classic hosted at the University Of New Mexico. The Land of Enchantments best have the unique opportunity to compete at home in front of friends and family against some of the best high school athletes in the United States.

 Taos' Jonah Vigil will take on the top 100m sprinter in the U.S. Mathew Boling of Texas and the top 400m sprinter Justin Robinson of Illinois. Vigil who just a couple weeks ago took home four individual 4a state titles (100m,200m,400, Long Jump) along with a 4x400m title. At the 4A State Championship he set new personal bests in the 100m with a 10.51 and 200m 21.30.  Strake Jesuit Senior and Georgia Commit Mathew Boling enters Great Southwest with a stellar 9.98 wind aided 100m.
