Arcadia Invitational

The short New Mexico story on a very long meet: Albuquerque Academy's Kevin Wyss runs 4:19.45 for 1600 meters.

Aztec Top Gun Invitational

Note the the javelin standoff between Nicole Pendley and Kayli Farmer came out differently in Aztec than it did in Albuquerque. Home field advantage apparently doesn't mean much in the javelin. 

And, speaking of standoffs, it was a very nice shot put contest between Amaris Blount and Kaleigh Graham, with Graham taking the win. Molly Klein showed a little range, winning the 400 in 59.16. 

Among the boys, Abran Ramos led a quartet of Rams at the top of the 1600 results. Rio Rancho definitely gave a distance clinic at this meet, though Piedra Vista's Harrison Fleming offered stern resistance ...
