The Marilyn Sepulveda Meet of Champions is our annual gathering of the state’s best track and field athletes, competing in a rapid-fire succession of events. Their skill, endurance, and powerful speed go on display under the watchful eyes of coaches, parents, and track and field aficionados.
Each year’s events serve as a tether to a tradition of excellence, and a hopeful glance ahead to the upcoming track and field state championships. Most importantly, “The Marilyn” meet serves as a chance for each invited athlete, regardless of classification, to measure themselves against their peers. All of these performances, clashes, and rests happened under the bright lights and welcoming glare of Great Friends of UNM Track and Field Stadium. And what a show it was.
