Do you like track & field? How about taking photos? Or videos? Or writing? Or how about track & field, and one (or all) of the following crafts? If so, we're looking for you!
MileSplit New Mexico is looking to hire contributors for the upcoming outdoor track & field season!
Ideal candidates would be available to cover meets, which are usually on the weekends. We're mainly looking for writers, photographers, and videographers who can cover track meets, and can load their content to nm.milesplit.com within 24 hours of the event concluding.
We're looking for all sorts of contributors, like:
- Journalism students looking for experience.
- Media and newspaper photographers/writers who already cover athletic competitions.
- Parents with DSLR cameras who are taking photographs already.
- College students who love the sport and want to contribute.
- Part-time or retired coaches still involved in the sport.
- Former journalism students who competed in college or high school and are now in the media and are also parents with DSLR cameras and are/were part-time or retired coaches.
Prior experience isn't necessarily required, though it's desired. Passion for the sport/your craft is required.
