With NXN Northeast, NXN New York and Foot Locker Northeast all contested on the same day, the competition gets watered down a bit. Thanks to this divisiveness, there's a chance that we could see both Affolder brothers qualify for Foot Locker Nationals. Senior Noah, a Syracuse commit, is the defending champion here, ranks No. 3 in the nation and is a favorite for the national title. His brother, Sam, is just a sophomore yet proposes a legitimate threat to take a top 10 spot. The last sophomore to qualify for Foot Locker Nationals was John Dressel in 2014; he placed 14th that year, then runner-up as a junior and sixth as a senior.
Noah is undefeated this year, while Sam has consistently placed just one or two spots behind, including a third-place finish at the Pennsylvania State Championship.
