2026VOLCANO VISTA INVITATIONAL

TIME SCHEDULE:
Coaches Meeting: 2:30 pm (at finish line)
Varsity Boys: 3:00 pm (7 Runners Max)
Varsity Girls: 3:30 pm (7 Runners Max)
Open Boys and Girls/ Community Race: 4:00 pm (unlimited)
Community Race: Volcano Vista is happy to host a community fun run- entry is $10- you can sign up on the day of the race! Deadline to register is 30 minutes before the race (3:30)
Note: The $10 entry fee is only for runners that are not part of a HS team.
ENTRIES:
Teams may enter 7 athletes in each of the varsity races, and the open race is unlimited
Please submit entries to likhaya@bosquerunningcompany.com no later than Tuesday September 21st by 4:00pm, using the following template
SCORING and RESULTS:
Timing will be done by Likhaya (Bosque Running). Results should be available at the conclusion of each race. Coaches will have 30 minutes to protest results after they are posted.
COURSE:
The course is a mostly flat course on grass, dirt, and gravel. Due to recent rain storms, the course may need to be modified to avoid deep, standing water.
RESTROOMS:
Restrooms will be available at the park
Concessions:
Frito Pie, Nachos, Soda, Candy Bar, Chips, Pickle, Gatorade, Water
This is a cashless event. All concession sales will be made with a debit/credit card

Volcano Vista, Alamogordo, Albuquerque HS, Atrisco Heritage, Cleveland, Del Norte, La Cueva, Manzano, Oak Grove, West Mesa
Directions, Parking, and Entry:
Ventana Ranch Park is on the East side of Universe, right across from Ventana Ranch Elementary School. It is on the north side of Paradise and you can access the parking lot by turning east into the park at the Universe and Ventana Village light. Buses can drop off athletes near the east side of the park but please park the bus the furthest west you can go in the parking lot.
