Meet Information
Greetings! The Aztec Track & Field team would like to invite you to the 2026 Aztec Invitational to be held in Aztec, New Mexico at Fred Cook Memorial Stadium. We are proud to host this two-day meet on Friday, April 25 and Saturday April 26.
Registration for entries close April 22 at Midnight
Running Events: Ten (10) entries per individual event. One relay team per school. Preliminaries will be run in the 100, 200, and 400 meter dashes, the 100/110 and 300 meter hurdles. The top eight times will qualify for the finals. All other races will be run as finals.
Throwing Events: Each contestant will be given 3 throws in the preliminaries. Top eight finishers will be given three more throws in the finals.
Long/Triple Jump: Each contestant will be given 3 jumps. Top eight finishers will be given three more jumps in the finals.
High Jump: Starting height for the girls will be 4 and 5 for the boys. We will move the bar 1 to state qualifying marks when necessary.
Pole Vault: Starting height will be 9 for boys and 6 for girls. COACHES MUST HAVE THEIR VAULTERS WEIGHT VERIFIED AND ALL POLES MUST BE MARKED.
