Date: October 31, 2025
Place: AHS Riner Steinhoff Soccer Complex, 1200 E 1st St, Alamogordo
Registration: Registration will be on MileSplit. Registration will close on October 30 @ 8:00 PM
Coaches Meeting: 3:30 at the Finish Line
Order of Events:
4:00 Girls Varity (9 entries)
4:45 Boys Varsity (9 entries)
Only 9 can run, just the top 7 will be counted in the results (8th and 9th runners will be purged from scoring). Please register any possible substitutions as well. I left it open to register up to 13 to simplify any last minute substitutions.
Distance: 5K/3.1 miles
Course: Course is a mix of grass, turf, dirt, and asphalt. Course starts on the soccer complex then you will need to complete two loops before reentering the soccer complex. Very coach and spectator friendly course.
Awards:
Team: 1st Place Banner, 1st Place Team Medals 1-7 on team
Individuals:1st through 10th Medals
State Qualifiers: Top 3 teams will qualify for state. The next 3 individuals from non-qualifying teams will qualify for state. If your team qualifies, please let me know the individuals from your team that you want us to submit to the NMAA if different from your first seven runners.
Scoring System: We will be using bib numbers. Have the numbers clearly visible on the front chest area of the singlet. Have athletes stay in order in the chute to ensure they will be counted correctly.
