Athletic Director/Cross Country Coach,
The Clovis Invitational will be held on August 23, 2025. The meet will be at Ned Houk Park, located on North Prince Street (which is highway 209 going north toward Grady, NM). Proceed north outside Clovis city limits for approximately 6-8 miles. A mile past country road 17, the park entrance will be on the east side of the highway. Enter the park and go left at the T intersection to the bus parking lot. There is no fee for our meet. Team entries need to be entered into Mile Split by Thursday August 21st at 5:00 pm. Varsity and JV will run a 3 mile course. Middle School will run a 1.5 mile course. Both Varsity and Junior Varsity will be scored.
Timing will be done be a professional company
Rules:
Each Varsity Division is limited to 7 runners.
Before you enter a JV runner you must enter a varsity team of five runners.
The first five members of the team will count toward the team score.
Open Limit on JV runner.
Awards:
1st and 2nd Team Awards for Varsity
1st and 2nd Team Awards for JV
Medals for top 10 runners in Varsity/JV, and ribbons for top 10 for Middle School at the finish line
The Meet Schedule is as follows:
7:30 am - Packet pickup
8:00 am - Varsity Boys
8:30 am - Varsity Girls
9:00 am - JV Boys
9:30 am - JV Girls
10:15 am - Middle School (boys and girls)
Restroom facilities are available at Ned Houk Park. I recommend that you make a pit stop in town before coming out to the park.
