Meet Information
This meet is full and invites have been sent out via Track Mate.
SITE: Cloudcroft, New Mexico
DATE: Wednesday, March 26th
Scratch meeting will be held at 2:30 PM.
DEADLINES: Team Entries will be completed through Track Mate. You should have received
an email already. Entries are due Tuesday,March 25th at noon. After Track Mate Entries
close, you will be able to scratch and replace at the scratch meeting.
ENTRIES: Each event is limited to 3 participants from your school. All athletes shall be limited
to 4 events in the track meet. No more than 3 of these events may be running events, including
relays.
Events: We will be using a Flash Timer system. All events will be finals. Running events
supersede field events.
WE WILL HA VE A CONCESSION STAND
There is a cash gate fee of $5 for adults and $3 for students and seniors.
We will not be running the 1600 at our meet.

Cloudcroft Jr. Mt. Top Relays Track Meet
March 26th, 2024
1. In all running events, enter your fastest runner in Slot No. 1, etc. Indicate his/her times for
better heat placement.
2. Print or type student name - Please add a roster list of your kids along with entries.
3. Entry sheet due Tuesday, April 25th , 2025 by noon. Please enter them on trackmate.
4. Meet to be held at Cloudcroft High School track and field.
5. Scratch Meet: 2:30 pm - Garage on South of field
6. Running events have precedence over field events, but we ask that field event participants
check in with the judge when a running event conflicts with the field event.
***PLEASE REPORT BACK TO FIELD EVENT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.***
7. Athletes may enter four (4) events, but no more than three (3) may be running or field events.
8. You may enter 4 athletes per running event and on field events.
9. All long jump and triple jump participants will be allowed three (3) jumps.
10. All high jump participants will be allowed three (3) jumps at each height attempt.
11. All shot and discus participants will be allowed three (3) throws.
STARTING HEIGHTS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

12. Scoring: Individual - 7-5-4-3-2-1
Relays - 10-8-6-4-2-1
13. No spikes longer than " will be permitted. Athletes will be disqualified from further
participation in the meet for wearing longer spikes or abusing the track or runways in any
way. Takeoff marks for relays should be marked with tennis balls and not scratched into the
track.
14. To avoid congestion on the infield, the following rules have been established:
(a) Participant will enter the infield only after the first call for his/her event. (b)
Coaches will be allowed on the field.
(c) Each team will be allowed only two (2) managers on the field.
(d) Athletes should remain in the stands unless they are preparing for an event.
NO CAMPS ON THE FIELD.
15. No speakers will be allowed to be played in the stands during the meet.16. No athlete will be permitted in the bleachers with spikes on.
