Logan Junior High Track Meet- April 17th, 2025
Please read the following information regarding the Logan Junior High Track Meet schedule of events, entries, and other related information.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
ENTRIES: We will use nm.milesplit.com the entries are due by Tuesday,
April 15th, 2025 by NOON. No late entries will be accepted!
SCRATCH MEETING:
o Scratch meeting will be held in the locker room located on the west
side of the building (by the concession stand).
o Meeting time: 2:00 3:00 (all scratches will be completed by 3:00)
o Field events will scratch at the site of the event.
EVENT TIMES: Field events will start at 2:30. Running Events will start
at 3:30.
FIELD EVENTS: Three attempts in the shot, discus, long jump, and triple
jump. Three attempts at each height in pole vault and high jump.
RULES AND EVENTS: Follow NMAA Guidelines & NFHS
BUS PARKING All busses need to park along the road south of the
football field (outside of the fence).
LOCKER ROOMS: Unavailable: Please come dressed
DISTANCES: All running events will be measured in meters.
TRACK INFO: All- weather track measuring 400 meters. Short spikes only.
Runways are all-weather. Shot/Discus rings are cement.
STARTING BLOCKS: Starting blocks will be furnished. Please assign
someone to hold the blocks for your runners.
SEEDINGS: Lane assignments will be according to time.
FAT TIMING: FAT timing system will be used for all races.
SCORING: Individual: 7-5-4-3-2-1 Relays: 10-8-6-4-2-1
AWARDS: Plaques will be given to: Team Champion, Team Runner-Up, High
Point Individual (Girl), and High Point Individual (Boy).
Medals will be presented to 1st Ribbons to 2nd 6th place on all
events.
RESTROOMS: Located on the east side of the concession stand.
CONCESSION STAND: Will be available.
FACILITY RULES: Please advise athletes to use caution when crossing the
track. Please ask athletes to clean up their areas at the end of the
meet.
