RICHARD HARPER MEMORIAL TRACK MEET
Entries are due through nm.milesplit.com no later than Thursday, April 25, 2024, by 9:00 AM. No late entries will be accepted. Entries are final - scratch only - NO ADDS OR CHANGES.
Note: Only varsity times/marks are acceptable from this year (No JV).
Entries for individual events will be based on a minimum entry standard set at a varsity meet during the 2023 season. Marks must be reported in official meet results to nm.milesplit. Max entries are 3 per team.

TRACK SURFACE/RUNWAYS: All-weather track surface, runways for pole vaults and long jump, and high jump takeoff. Flats, 1/4", or pin spikes required. (No long spikes, please). Concrete discus and shot-put rings, grass javelin surface.
RELAY AND RUNWAY MARKINGS: All relay and runway markings must be done with tennis balls or plastic markers. NO TAPE of any type is allowed on the track.
PRELIMINARY AND FINALS: The 100-meter, 200-meter, 400-meter, 100-meter hurdles (girls), 110-meter hurdles (boys), 200 meters, 300-meter intermediate hurdles, and 400-meter relays will qualify the top 8 from the heats to the finals. All other running events will be contested as finals only.
FIELD EVENTS: Shot Put, discus, javelin, long jump, triple jump: 3 trials, 8 individuals to finals,
Starting height in pole vault -boys- 9'6", girls- 7'0"
Starting height in high jump boys 5'4", girls 4'6".
