TEAMS ATTENDING: Albuquerque Academy, Atrisco Heritage, Bernalillo, Belen, Cuba, Farmington, Highland, La Cueva, NACA, Oak Grove, Taos, Rio Grande, Rio Rancho, St. Pius, Valencia

 ATHLETE ENTRIES:  Entry due through nm.milesplit.com no later than Thursday April 11th by 10pm. Late entries will not be accepted. On the day of the meet, you may scratch an athlete from an individual event but you may not replace that athlete. You may change athletes in your relays.

ENTRY LIMITATIONS:  Teams will be limited to (3) entries in all individual track and field events and (1) entry in all relays.

COACHES MEETING: 8:30am at the starting line 

EVENT CHECK-IN:  Athletes in track events will check-in at the center of the infield to receive hip numbers.   Track event athletes will then report to the start line of their event when called. Field event athletes will check-in at the event location. At the Discus ONLY 1 flight at a time will be allowed at the event. Flights will be called.

TRACK EVENTS:  All track events will be contested as timed finals.  Track events take priority over Field Events.  Starting Blocks will be provided. If you use your own starting blocks, you will be responsible for moving to and from the starting line(s).  All sprints will be run from east to west to the common start/finish line.  FAT will not be moved due to weather conditions.

WEIGH-INS: Weigh-ins will be near the track field house. This is located near the javelin field. Weigh-ins will begin at 8am and conclude at 8:45am.

POLE VAULT:  Poles will be checked at the event location for weight marking.  All coaches shall be responsible for seeing that their athletes are using poles that are correct for their weight.  Pole weight limits shall be clearly marked on any pole(s) used by competitors.  Poles not correctly marked shall be confiscated by the pole vault official and not returned until completion of the event.

JAVELIN: The Javelin will be contested at the large grass field east of the Track. 

FIELD EVENTS:  Shot Put, Discus, Javelin, Long Jump and Triple Jump contestants will be given 3 attempts with the top 8 qualifying for finals. 3 attempts will be given in the final round.

TEAM CAMPS:Teams camps may be set up in the parking lot north of the track. This area does not have grass so we suggest that you bring tarps and chairs. Pavement parking spaces are for ADA parking and team camps only. Coaches can park south of the track or in the dirt on the north side. Teams may not set up a camp on the infield or in the bleacher areas. The infield is reserved for athletes who are warming up for events. Please monitor your athletes and ask them to move to the outskirts of the track if they are not competing or warming up. Fans are not allowed in the infield except for the south east corner of the track which is the viewing area for the discus and high jump AND the east area to view the pole vault. Please inform your parents of this procedure and help enforce this policy if necessary. The bleachers at the track facility are for fans only. Parents and fans are not allowed in the infield

WARM-UP AREA:  The football stadium can be used for warmups.  The infield may be used for sprint warm-ups and strides. Distance runners would warm-up and cool down outside of the track. Athletes are not allowed to use throwing implements in the warm-up area.  Athletes will be responsible for check-in before their event begins.

ATHLETE ENTRY:  Athletes may enter via the east or west entrances to the track. Athletes must be dressed in their school issued uniform.

FAN ENTRY:  We ask that all fans enter via the east entrance and park in the Football parking lot. We would like to keep the Track parking lot available for team camps, and fans who need ADA access to our facility.
