The Capitan Tigers welcome you to the 2023 Cross Country District Championship race held at Fort Stanton.

Course:  The course will be approximately 3 miles with grass, dirt, and hills.

Instructions:  Upon arrival, pick up your packets and check the spelling and grade of your athletes on the stickers.  If corrections need to be made, please let us know right away.  As runners finish they will receive a place card.  Coaches will need to write their athletes finishing number on the sticker and turn everything into the scoring table. Teams that have 8 or 9 runners or athletes who did not run please place an "X" across the label of those athletes so that we know not to score those athletes.

Awards: The top 10 runners from each division will receive a medal.  Plaques will be awarded to the top three teams in each division.

Results:  Results will be emailed to all coaches on Saturday.  Please check your athletes and verify spelling and grade is correct and email confirmation back.

State Qualifications:  Top 6 teams and top 4 runners on teams not qualified will be entered into the state meet.  Coach King will enter all state qualifiers.  Jackie will email coaches to verify entries on Monday.
