Meet Information
Dear Coaches,
Los Alamos Middle School is proud to host the Los ALamos Middle School Invitational Cross Country Meet on Wednesday, September 29th, 2021 at Los Alamos middle school in Los Alamos, New Mexico. The primarily packed dirt course is mostly flat with some small hills at altitude (7400 ft).
We are committed to run a great meet in a safe and healthy environment to bring some normalcy to those who attend our meet. We ask that spectators and coaches wear masks while in crowded areas such as the start and finish area. It is currently required that all athletes and attendees wear a mask when using the restroom/facilities indoors. Athletes do not need to wear a mask when warming up, racing, or cooling down.
We hope that you all will join us in helping us make this meet a success.

2:30 p.m.. Coaches Meeting (bibs and course maps will be handed out to coaches)
3:00 p.m.. 7th Grade Girls
3:20 p.m.. 7th Grade Boys
3:40 p.m.. 8th Grade Girls
4:00 p.m.. 8th Grade Boys
4:20 p.m.. Awards
Awards
At the Finish Area following the 8th Grade Boys race, t-shirts will be awarded to the top 5 in each race.
Entry Process & Fees
Entry Deadline: Monday, September 27th @ 11:59 pm Mtn. Time
Fees: $50/school (both genders) or $25/school (single gender)

Please sign your athletes up through MileSplit. Race bibs are being created based on the information entered in MileSplit. Please ensure your athletes are entered in the correct race.

Course Information and Records
Course Demographics: The course is located on the East side of the LAMS parking lot. The course is mostly packed dirt with small sections of gravel road. See Course Map below.
***There will be a lead bike/cart for each race***
Restrooms will be located in the LAMS gym (Athletes/Spectators must wear a mask while using the bathroom indoors).
Team Camps: Teams can set up their team camp at the open grass field located on the North side of LAMS (See Map Below).
Meet Results
Results will be posted on MileSplit as soon as possible.
Parking and Bus Parking/Drop Off
Parents and Spectators can park in the LAMS parking lot. Busses can drop off athletes at the LAMS Bus Lane and then park across the street at the North Mesa Picnic Area (See Map of Bus Parking Below).
