After another week of track & field action in New Mexico, it's time to vote for the MileSplit New Mexico girls performer of the week.

Note: Athletes who have been nominated in the past two weeks are not eligible. Previous winners are excluded for the rest of the season.
This Week's Nominees:
Morgan James, Sue Cleveland High School (New Mexico): Won both hurdle events at the Richard Harper Invite, clocking 43.13 in the 300 hurdles and 14.59 in the 100 hurdles. Both victories came against solid fields of 24 and 23 athletes respectively.
Anna Hastings, ABQ Academy (New Mexico): Swept the distance events at the Richard Harper Invite with a 4:59.27 victory in the 1600 and an 11:02.07 win in the 3200. Her 1600 time came against a deep field of 33 runners.
Anayjah Garza, Albuquerque High School (New Mexico): The freshman turned in a strong sprint double at the Richard Harper Invite, winning the 200 in 25.09 and placing second in the 100 in 12.28. She defeated state-ranked junior Sophia Cox in both events and ranks as the #2 freshman in New Mexico in both the 100 and 200.
Sophia Cox, Belen High School (New Mexico): Posted three solid sprint performances at the Richard Harper Invite, winning the 400 in 57.18 while finishing second in the 200 (25.44) and fourth in the 100 (12.41). The junior ranks as the top junior in the state in the 100 meters.
Sofia Herrera, Las Cruces High School (New Mexico): Threw 128-0 to win the javelin at the Bob Sepulveda Invitational, topping a field of 30 competitors.
