After another week of track & field action in New Mexico, it's time to vote for the MileSplit New Mexico girls performer of the week.

Note: Athletes who have been nominated in the past two weeks are not eligible. Previous winners are excluded for the rest of the season.
This Week's Nominees:
Syrianna Raphiel, Clovis High School (New Mexico): Posted a PR of 12.09 in the 100 at the Marilyn Sepulveda Meet of Champions, improving from 24.49, while defeating state-ranked Samaya Fashola (#2 state, 12.14) and Grace Erinle (#6 state, 12.35). Also ran 24.25 in the 200, topping Fashola again (#8 state, 26.43) for another meet win.
Jhenna Valencia, Estancia High School (New Mexico): Threw a PR of 135-1 in the javelin at the Moriarty Invitational, breaking her previous best of 134-3 set in May 2025 at the NMAA 2A State Championships.
Sarah Martis, Los Alamos High School (New Mexico): Won the discus at the Chile Invitational with a massive PR of 134-3, improving more than eight feet from her previous best of 126-2 set last May.
Samaya Fashola, Sue Cleveland High School (New Mexico): Clocked 12.14 for second in the 100 at the Marilyn Sepulveda Meet of Champions, beating Grace Erinle (#6 state, 12.35). The top sophomore in the state in both sprints also ran 26.24 for third in the 200 at the Chile Invitational.
Grace Erinle, ABQ Academy (New Mexico): Cleared 38-11.5 to win the triple jump at the Marilyn Sepulveda Meet of Champions, a new PR improving from 38-3.5. The versatile junior also won the 200 in 25.96 at the Chile Invitational, defeating Samaya Fashola (#8 state, 26.24). Finished third in the 100 in 12.35 at Marilyn Sepulveda.
