After another week of track & field action in New Mexico, it's time to vote for the MileSplit New Mexico girls performer of the week.

This Week's Nominees:
Laila Martinez, Grants High School (New Mexico): Won the 800 meters at Fear the Gap (PVHS) with a time of 2:14.65, taking the victory in a field of 28 runners.
Jhenna Valencia, Estancia High School (New Mexico): Threw 122-2 to capture the javelin title at the Mario Martinez Qualifier, defeating a field of six competitors.
Harper Murray, Artesia High School (New Mexico): The #2 sophomore in the shot put posted a new PR of 37-5.5 at the Gene Wells Relays, breaking her previous best of 37-0 set in April. She won the event against 16 throwers.
Zayla Mitchell, Hobbs High School (New Mexico): Jumped 17-8 to win the long jump at the Gene Wells Relays, claiming first place among 35 competitors.
Simone Pamphile, Alamogordo High School (New Mexico): Clocked 12.55 for second place in the 100 meters at the Gene Wells Relays, a new PR that improved on her previous best of 12.95 set in April. The #4 freshman in the state ran against a field of 54.
