After another week of track & field action in New Mexico, it's time to vote for the MileSplit New Mexico boys performer of the week.

This Week's Nominees:
Aaron Torres, Fort Sumner High School (New Mexico): Threw a massive PR of 169-5 in the discus at the Buffalo Relays, breaking his previous best of 150-4 set last March. Also put up 46-11 in the shot put for another personal best, improving from 45-3.5. The junior now sits as the top-ranked discus thrower in his class statewide and third among juniors in the shot put.
Julian Benitez, Alamogordo High School (New Mexico): Clocked 10.73 to win the 100 meters at the Gene Wells Relays, breaking his PR of 10.89 set in February at the Canutillo Invitational.
Antonio Bonilla, Portales High School (New Mexico): Posted 182-11 in the javelin at the Gene Wells Relays, a new PR improving from his previous best of 182-6 set at the 2025 4A State Championships.
Marco Soto, Artesia High School (New Mexico): Won the shot put with a throw of 53-1.5 at the Gene Wells Relays and added a second-place finish in the discus at 131-1.5.
Adrian Mora, Hobbs High School (New Mexico): Cleared 6-6 to win the high jump at the Gene Wells Relays and added strong showings in two other events. Finished second in the long jump with a leap of 21-5 and ran 22.46 for fourth in the 200 meters.
