CANDIDATES

Pippa Barrett (Santa Fe Prep)- Ran an 18:05.60 in Arizona at Desert Twilight XC Invitational. This is her new 5K P.R and was quick enough to place her amongst the Top 5 fastest 5K times in for New Mexico this season.

Lilian Strebeck (Clovis HS)- Just an 8th grader, Strebeck managed a 19:28.00 for the 5K distance at the Pecos Valley Invitational. She led her team to a 1-5 sweep at the invite and collected her first win of the season.

Mariah Galbraith (Rio Rancho HS)- Another performance from the Desert Twilight XC Invitational, the sophomore clocked an 18:14.20 for the 5K distance. In just her second meet of the season, the 10th grader has shot into New Mexico's Top 5 performers for the distance mentioned.
