Just like the past two weeks, here's our Most Improved boys standings for New Mexico. Let's see if we have any similarities to last week's Most Improved chart.
Biggest improvement over the four years goes to Connor Smith (Cloudcroft HS). From a 3-minute half mile down to high 2:20's, Smith has taken just over forty seconds off his best from freshman year. The senior is ending his final high school track season with a significant P.R in the 800m.
Another notable mention is Jeron Wisner (Organ Mountain HS). He was a 2:03 runner his freshman year and last season he dropped down into the sub-2 minute category. Wisner has run a 2:00 flat this outdoor season but his P.R of 1:56.51, set last year, marks a near 10-second improvement over his high school campaign.
