Here we go with a small glance at some of the top athletes per event so far. We've got the Top 10 athletes in each individual event lined up for you along with their time, grade, and site of meet.
Keep an eye on Sophia Cox (Belen HS) who has now collected the #1 seed in both the 100m and the 400m dash for this season. The Tiger Invitational proved to be a great meet for Cox as she finished first in both events which resulted in her two state leads.
Over in the distance events, Carmen Dorsey-Spitz (Moriarty HS) took home a sub 11-minute performance and became the first New Mexico girl to crack that barrier this season. The sophomore opened up her year with a great performance and a state lead.
