With his 5k time of 16:56.52, Coombs is currently leading the freshmen class rankings, being the only freshman to break the 17:00 barrier thus far.
Distance stars sure do run in the Coombs family as brother Corbin Coombs is currently leading the boy's 5k across all-classifications with his time of 14:57.38.
The Coombs family will be one to keep your eye on this cross country season!
