MAKERIAH HARRIS, DEMETRIA HARRIS, AND KENZIE TOUCHET FACE OFF IN THE '22 LAST CHANCE QUALIFIER

      Last year, it was the boys' triple jump which garnered the attention of high school track fans and college coaches across the nation. This year, the same will be said of the girls 60m hurdles as three of Louisiana's best ever will battle it out.

     At the top, Scotlandville's Makeriah Harris , who carries her perfect 10-0 win streak from her sophomore season into this year. Harris' 8.60 at the 60Hranks No. 4 in Louisiana in the last 11 years. Only LSU All-Americans Alia Armstrong and Mikiah Brisco and Tulane's Kyah Loyd have clocked faster times.

      Nationally, Harris' time ranks No. 9 in the US among all returners. Six of the eight returners ahead of Harris are seniors.
