A Quiet Day In Hershey: PIAA Foundation Invite Recap

It wasn't a normal atmosphere at Hershey's Parkview Course on Saturday, but then again, nothing about 2020 has been anything close to normal.

With no spectators allowed on the course and smaller fields in the coronavirus world, it was a much different feel for an XC meet at the PIAA Foundation Invitational. Races were broken up into 12 races apiece for boys and girls with four teams racing at a time and races going off every 15 minutes.

Still, a number of the state's top teams and individuals took to the course in what was an interesting and quiet full day at Parkview.

The PIAA used the "revised" course for Saturday, which takes out Poop-Out Hill and instead takes runners up a straight grass trail and around a shed in the back. That course was used for Foundation and the state meet last year.
