Following the directive from New Mexico Public Education Department, the 2019-2020 academic year along with the remaining spring sports and activities will be cancelled including all practices, workouts, contests and events.
As a result of COVID-19 public health threat, the New Mexico Activities Association acted to cancel all activities and events in order to combat the spread and ensure the safety of New Mexico's student-athletes.
The NMAA board of directors will hold a special meeting in early May to discuss summer regulations pertaining to practices/camps/conditioning and scholastic eligibility for the 2020-2021 school year.
