'Tis the season!
While most of Colorado's high schoolers are packing it up for the season (minus those headed to Portland and/or San Diego), it's that holiday season where their coaches are unpacking mud-caked spikes - remnants of last year's Fastest Coach In The State Race, and pulling out a singlet that fits a little tighter than it used to.
I'll save the jokes about soreness and aches and pains this time around, and just get down to the nitty gritty:
Who: Anyone who coaches XC in Colorado at any level
What: We're going to race a 5K to settle things for the year
When: Saturday December 14 at 9:30 a.m.
Where: Lyons High School
Why: Why not?
