The best of the best emerged victorious through the rain, sleet, hail, and lightning to establish themselves as the cream of the crop. The following athletes all won individual championships, and cemented their status as standout athletes among the state's very best. This year's State Championships included some of the worst weather conditions ever witnessed for this annual event, but the toughest kids prevailed to triumph in the face of such rough conditions. An acknowledgement must be made to the wonderful coaches and parents that braved the storms to provide consistent support and cheer their kids on to victory. It was an epic display of cooperation, understanding, and truly class competition. In the end, as it always does, the cream was able to rise to the top.
